About This Server:
This place is Disordered By Design (formally "The Psychology Discord") it's for people who are self-aware, unfiltered, and tired of pretending to be “nice” just to keep fragile strangers comfortable. It’s not a support group and It’s not therapy. It’s a discord server with a close nit family vibe to talk about personality disorders, be chaotic without it looking weird or out of place, just real shit with people who can handle it. Those that enjoy sarcasm, volatility, and blunt conversation without having a complete moral outrage. You can be Bold, you can be cold, you can be intense, or chaotic just don’t be a try-hard or make your problems everyone else’s problem because you can't get off your moral high horse.

- Is this an Unmasking server?
A: To an extent yes it is however 'unmasking' is typically associated with being a try hard or larping as such we aim to keep low quality bs to a minimum. This is partly why we have a ticketing system.
- Why do you guys have ticketing on?
A: It keep out the trash, such as try hards, larpers, self bots, spam bots, scammers and alike. It's not hard to verify and doesn't take long.
- This is a mental health server! You should be more careful.
A: No. No it's not. While you absolutely can vent and seek emotional support just don't have any expectations on what you'll get in response. None of us are professionals and are just volunteers and as such you're not entitled to receive it purely based on joining and needing it. If you want that we strongly recommend you get a therapist.
What this place is though, is a place for people to unmask and learn about what disorders they have and or suspect. We are extremely knowledgeable in this area and have helped many find the right tools & services for their suspected disorder. Whilst we don't and can't diagnose anyone we can help them find the right disorder that fits their symptoms so they can get the appropriate help if they so choose to do so. You will unlikely find a more knowledgeable server in that regard.
