Welcome to the official Eastern Philosophy discord server! This is the original, most stable, and longest running server dedicated to respectful and informed discussion of Eastern philosophical traditions, established in 2017. We have channels dedicated to Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Shintoism and other Eastern philosophies.

Events and resources by professionals in Eastern philosophies are posted regularly. See our tearoom for art, videos, and poetry. Both scholar and practitioner perspectives are welcome. We currently have reading groups dedicated to Mohism and Madhyamaka.

Celebrating additional underrepresented philosophical traditions, African, Indigenous, and Middle Eastern philosophies also find a home in the server's channel list.
