[Soleida Harbor Informational Pamphlet]

• Soleida Harbor was founded in 1917 by brothers Agustín and Alonso Soleida. It originally wasn't a town at all, and was just where the brothers had built their small shop to sell the fish they would catch. Word would slowly travel, which made business increase. The people fell in love with the beautiful scenery and the nearby waters. Little by little, people were building their homes and eventually their own businesses. It had earned a spot on the map.
• For many years, the brothers took care of their town on top of the fishing business. After a while however, the popularity and high demand drove the brothers into a divide. Alonso wanted to forget about the business, feeling it was of the past. He wanted to make Soleida Harbor bigger. He became blindsided by the new fame and prosperity, putting behind him everything he was raised on. Agustín being hurt by this, turned his back on his brother. He would remove him from the business in every legal document, which made Alonso furious.
• Their feud became long-lasting, but the town continued to succeed more than they ever had. Alonso was the first to run for mayor, although he had nobody to campaign against. It was an easy win for him. The town was happy, they knew him to be a good man. But he deceived them, and leeched from the very community who helped him get to where he was.
• Agustín would run for mayor four years later, winning by a landslide against his greedy brothe. Alonso, having lost his election and the seat of his power forced him to settle down into a lavish lifestyle, starting a family and getting married. Alonso was known for having a very strained marriage, and always coming up in the press for a scandal. Agustín turned the town around for the better, repairing the damage his brother had done. He met his wife at one of his charity funds, later starting a family of his own. The two became old, passing away and never having reconciled their differences. Today, the two sides of the family remain in the town with many of the members holding onto that generational grudge over one another.

Aside from being popularized as a fishing town, it's other popular attraction is their glorious and expansive cave systems. However, tourists and unfamiliar residents are strongly advised against exploring these caves past the safely marked out areas.
