Set not long after the battle between Heaven and Hell in the last episode, Lute and the remaining exorcist angels came to wreak her revenge and avenge their fallen leader - Adam.

Coming in the middle of the night when no one expected it, Lute and the other angels not only took Charlie to prevent her from causing them any further trouble...they left Lucifer injured and nearly dead.

Now, having received help from the last Sinner that he ever would have thought would come to his aid - much less be willing to take over in his place while he's healing - Lucifer has to make some very hard choices in order to bring his daughter home safely. The only problem is, he has no idea where to begin...

Right when he thinks that all is lost, a new ray of hope shows up - taking the form of a small spirit from Purgatory, who is in Hell looking for her long lost love.
