The Dilbert TV series was far funnier than shows like south park or family guy, and it never had to insult its audience's intelligence nor force its humor or message down anyone's throat. Dilbert also never tried to brainwash people with any political or social agenda. It was just good, clean, high quality, comedy fun. Dilbert had a short run of just 2 seasons, so it managed to remain consistent its quality didn't decline over time.
