The culmination of these forces increasing in might resulted in the birth of the golden age of jujutsu. The Heian Era. A time unlike any other, where all of jujutsu society was at its peak.*

Jump to the modern era and that's where this story begins. And it begins with the death of the honored one himself. Naguru Gojo.

His death left a gaping hole in the world. Removing the very concept of balance from the scale of jujutsu. Now those who remain are forced to deal with the aftermath of it all.
